Health & Care

Do your puppies come with a health guarantee?
Yes! All of our puppies come with a one-year health guarantee, two free vet exams, and 14 days for you to have your new puppy checked by your own veterinarian to confirm its health.

How do you ensure your puppies are healthy before going home?
Our licensed veterinarian visits twice weekly to monitor each puppy’s health, environment, and nutrition. Puppies are vaccinated according to age, dewormed on schedule, and given Nutri-Cal vitamins twice daily to support their growth and immune systems.

Are you licensed and regulated?
Absolutely. Puppy Petite is fully licensed with the New York State Department of Health (NYS Pet Dealer PD00181) and holds a Certificate in Animal Care and Handling (#98-ACHT-399). We adhere to all state and federal regulations to ensure the safety and well-being of our puppies.

What breeds do you specialize in?
We specialize in toy and teacup breeds, including Yorkies (Yorkshire Terriers), micro Yorkies, and Morkies (Yorkie-Maltese mixes) — all known for their small size, loving personalities, and hypoallergenic coats.

Are Yorkies and Morkies good for apartments?
Yes! These small breeds are ideal for apartments or smaller living spaces. They’re affectionate, low-shedding, and easily adapt to various home environments.

Are your Yorkies and Morkies hypoallergenic?
Yes, Yorkies and Morkies are considered non-shedding and hypoallergenic, making them great companions for people with allergies or asthma.

Visiting & Purchasing

Can I visit the puppies in person?
Yes — and we encourage it! Seeing the puppies in person helps you feel confident about where your puppy comes from. You can visit us in Brooklyn to meet our available puppies and see how they’re cared for.

Do you offer delivery or pickup options?
While we always recommend visiting in person, we can discuss safe pickup or delivery options for customers traveling from out of town.

What kind of support do you offer after I take my puppy home?
We provide a 24-hour customer helpline for any questions about feeding, health, or general puppy care. We’re always here to help ensure a smooth transition for both you and your new puppy.

What should I bring when picking up my new puppy?
Bring a small crate or carrier, a soft blanket, and any paperwork your vet may need for the initial checkup. We’ll also provide you with your puppy’s vaccination record and starter care instructions.
